Recombinant MAP
MAPTrix¢â
MAPTrix¢â ECM

Extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins are an essential requirement for cells to be productive. The matrix provides cells with physical support and dramatically influences cell adhesion, spreading, focal contact formation, and cytoskeletal organization.
Recombinantly incorporating ECM derived peptide such as RGD motif into MAP created similar chemical compositions to that of naturally occurring ECM. This functionalized MAP has been combined to nanofiber technology to generate a defined architecture, nanofibrillar and porous substrate that provides cell and/or tissue friendly in vivo-like environments.

Improved cell culture performance is substantiated with observations of more in vivo-like cellular morphology, organization, and activity in various cell lines as demonstrated in the peer reviewed paper.

MAPTrix¢â ECM technology can expect to present precise control of peptide ligand density and their spatial distribution on the surface for cell adhesion, spreading, focal contact formation, cytoskeletal organization, and growth.
